Is Your Company Ready for PPC?
Website User Experience: A PPC campagin cannot happen without a website. An updated site meant to convert customers along with the ability to create new landing pages is a must. We offer landing page design services as an alterntive to replacing/updating site.
Budget: Do tyou have enough budget to make a campaign worthwhile? Although you can always start small and increase ad spend later, you do want a sizable enough initial budget for an effective campaign.
Should I Do PPC or SEO?
The answer to that question depends on who you ask. We believe, you should 100% do both. Any good online business does SEO, PPC, email marketing and social media marketing at a minimum.
SEO is cheaper in the long run (after the first year of investment). If you land a top spot in the search results for your keyword, it could very well stay at or near the top for a very long time.
That’s basically free advertising.
On the other hand, PPC is a constant payment stream. You’ll always pay for the ad as long as you want it to run. You will also have to pay your PPC company.
"I Already Have An SEO Campaign, So I Don't Need PPC"
A PPC campaign actually compliments SEO very well. You can use it to determine which keywords to target and align it your SEO campaign accordingly. If you’re already at the top spot for certain keywords, you can use a PPC to totally dominate all search results above the fold.
“I Didn’t Get Good ROI On My PPC Campaign With A Previous Provider"
A couple of questions to ask yourself…
- Did your previous provider set up conversion tracking?
- What keywords did you target?
- What did your landing page look like?
- What did the ad copy for that campaign look like?
- Do you have the list of negative keywords for that campaign?
- Did you run a remarketing campaign?
PPC is very effective if ran correctly. If your previous provider didn’t correctly implement these things, you definitely weren’t able to see a good ROI.
“PPC Is Expensive”
It’s easy to control your spending on PPC, so you never spend more than your budget allows. You can set a maximum daily budget, a maximum cost-per-click, and optimize for return on ad spend.
